Tripnotherapy
Plant-Medicine Assisted Meditative Therapy
Ancient ways for new awakenings
Long before pharmaceuticals, there were plants, and the deepest healings didn’t happen in clinics, but in ceremony, stillness, and surrender. Tripnotherapy invites you back to that wisdom.
Blending potent meditative practice with Kelai Kava - a rare, revered strain from the islands of Vanuatu - this experience gently alters your state of consciousness, creating space for deep inner release.
Emotional patterns soften.
Mental noise quiets.
What’s been buried has a chance to rise, move, and dissolve.
This isn’t just meditation.
It’s meditation with medicine - a doorway into the truth beneath the thinking mind.
The ultimate experience
Over five hours, you’ll be gently guided into a profoundly altered state of consciousness—where deep meditation, subconscious insight, and emotional release become not only possible, but natural.
🌿 What Can Tripnotherapy Help With?
Tripnotherapy offers a safe, sacred space to go beyond talk, beyond thought, and into the deeper roots of what holds you back. Using the calming, mildly psychedelic effects of Kelai Kava alongside guided meditation, this experience helps gently unlock what the conscious mind often avoids.
This process may support you to:
Release stuck emotional patterns that no longer serve you
Access clarity around life direction, relationships, or healing
Quiet the inner critic and soften mental overactivity
Shift limiting beliefs held deep in the subconscious
Process unhealed emotional wounds in a safe, contained space
Strengthen your capacity for presence, surrender, and self-trust
Deepen your spiritual connection—not as an escape, but as a return to what is real and whole within you
This is especially helpful for those who:
Feel emotionally or mentally “stuck” despite therapy or inner work
Struggle to meditate or “drop in” without support
Are navigating a spiritual awakening and need integration support
Are ready to meet themselves more fully—with openness, presence, and grace
Tripnotherapy is not about escaping your life. It’s about seeing it—and yourself—more clearly than ever before
What is Kelai Kava?
Kelai Kava is a rare and highly prized strain of noble kava (Piper methysticum), traditionally grown in the lush volcanic soil of Pentecost Island, Vanuatu—the spiritual heartland of kava culture.
Used ceremonially for centuries by the people of Vanuatu, Kelai is known for its clarity, strength, and smoothness, offering both deep physical relaxation and heightened mental awareness. It’s considered one of the most balanced and refined kava cultivars available in the world.
Not all kava is created equal. Kelai is a “noble kava”, meaning it meets the highest safety and quality standards for human consumption. Unlike cheaper or chemically altered kavas, Kelai is:
Grown traditionally, without chemicals or commercial interference
Carefully harvested and sun-dried by hand
Celebrated for its unique alkaloid profile, which produces calming, mildly euphoric, and gently psychoactive effects—without heavy sedation
This makes it an ideal plant ally for meditation, emotional processing, and inner exploration.
Why is this kava special?
Kelai’s effects begin within 20–30 minutes of drinking, and may include:
A warm, gentle wave of physical relaxation
A noticeable quieting of mental noise
A sense of being emotionally open and inwardly connected
Subtle shifts in perception, making it easier to observe thoughts and feelings without getting caught in them
You remain fully conscious and aware—just more present, more spacious, and more able to meet yourself with clarity and grace.
What does it feel like?
Safe, legal, and non-hallucinogenic
Kelai Kava is:
100% legal in New Zealand and most countries
Non-addictive and non-hallucinogenic
Free from stimulants, THC, or psychedelics
Safe when used responsibly and with proper preparation
You will not experience visions or lose touch with reality. Instead, Kelai Kava creates the perfect inner environment for guided meditation, self-inquiry, and emotional release.
Why use Kelai for Tripnotherapy?
I chose Kelai Kava for this work because of its:
Purity and ceremonial lineage
Reliable, gentle psychoactive profile
Ability to support emotional depth without overwhelm
This is not recreational use. It is a sacred collaboration—with a plant that holds the wisdom of thousands of years, now meeting the concerns of the modern mind with care and respect.
What to expect on your Tripnotherapy journey
Tripnotherapy is not a one-off experience. It’s a carefully held journey of preparation, presence, and integration—designed to help you meet yourself deeply, safely, and meaningfully.
This isn’t about escaping your life. It’s about becoming so present to it that old patterns can finally dissolve.
Step 1: Three Foundational Sessions (Before Kava)
Before we introduce Kelai Kava, you’ll begin with three 1:1 preparation sessions. These are essential—not just for safety, but to help you prepare mentally, emotionally, and energetically for the experience ahead.
In these sessions, we will:
Explore your current challenges, patterns, and inner landscape
Identify what you truly want to shift, release, or reconnect with
Build psychological tools and inner resourcing to help you stay grounded if difficult material arises
Set a clear, heart-based intention for the medicine session
This creates a strong internal container so that when the Kava opens the door—you’re ready to walk through it with awareness.
Step 2: The Tripnotherapy Session (With Kelai Kava)
On the day of your Tripnotherapy session, we begin in stillness. The session is held at Wookey Hollow in Morison Bush, South Wairarapa.
You’ll drink a carefully prepared dose of Kelai Kava, a rare and revered strain from Vanuatu, known for its calming, mildly psychedelic effects.
Within 20 to 30 minutes, you’ll begin to feel:
A deep bodily relaxation
A quieting of the mental chatter
A sense of spacious awareness
From this altered-yet-conscious state, I will guide you into a meditative journey, using language, silence, and presence to help you:
Access subconscious material
Release emotional and energetic blockages
See beyond limiting thought loops
Connect with the deeper intelligence already within you
This is not hypnosis, but a sacred unfolding—a dance between stillness and surrender.
Step 3: Integration & Support (Afterward)
The effects of Kelai Kava typically last 2 to 4 hours, with residual clarity, calm, and insight lingering for hours—or even days.
We will schedule a follow-up session within the week to:
Help you integrate what arose
Ground the insights into your daily life
Ensure you feel supported and resourced moving forward

FAQs
What is Tripnotherapy?
Tripnotherapy is a guided, plant-assisted meditation experience using Kelai Kava—a rare ceremonial kava from Vanuatu—combined with deep meditative and therapeutic techniques. It’s designed to help you access altered states of awareness, release emotional blockages, and reconnect with your deeper self. The experience is gentle, legal, and grounded in ancient wisdom.
What does the full process involve?
The Tripnotherapy process includes:
Three 1:1 preparatory sessions (to build trust, clarify your intentions, and introduce core teachings)
One five-hour Kava-assisted meditative session
One integration session (to help ground and apply insights from the experience)
This structure ensures you are fully supported—mentally, emotionally, and spiritually—before, during, and after your journey.
How much does it cost, and what’s included?
The total cost for the Tripnotherapy process is $1,490, and includes:
3 x 60-minute preparation sessions
1 x 5-hour Kava-assisted therapeutic meditation
1 x 60-minute integration session
All materials, Kava, guidance, and aftercare resources are included.
Will I lose control or have a “bad trip”?
Tripnotherapy is not designed to overwhelm your system. The Kava used is subtle, and you are always guided and supported. You remain conscious, aware, and safe throughout the process. That said, emotional content may arise—but we will have spent three sessions building the tools and trust to meet it calmly and compassionately.
Can I drive or work after a session?
No. You should arrange transport home and allow space for rest and reflection afterward. Kava’s effects may impair reaction time or make you feel deeply relaxed. I recommend taking the day off work and spending time in quiet integration.
Is Kava legal?
Yes. Kava is 100% legal in New Zealand and most countries worldwide.
Kelai Kava, used in Tripnotherapy, is a noble cultivar, traditionally used in South Pacific ceremonies for its calming, psychoactive, and spiritually expansive properties. It is not classified as a controlled substance, and poses no known risk of dependency when used properly and sparingly.
What does Kava feel like?
The effects of Kelai Kava are gentle, grounding, and mildly psychedelic.
Within 20–30 minutes, you may feel:
A deep sense of relaxation
Mental quiet and emotional spaciousness
Heightened sensitivity to internal awareness
A subtle shift in perception, with enhanced access to meditation and insight
You remain fully conscious and aware throughout. This isn’t a hallucinogenic or out-of-body experience—it’s more like dropping beneath the mind and meeting yourself from a new depth.
How long do the effects last?
Kava’s core effects typically last 2 to 4 hours, with lingering clarity, calm, and insight often continuing for the rest of the day. The full Tripnotherapy session lasts around five hours, giving space for preparation, meditation, unfolding, and return.
Is it safe? Are there any contraindications?
Kava is considered safe when used appropriately, but it is not suitable for everyone.
You should not use Kava if you:
Are taking certain medications (particularly benzodiazepines, sedatives, or antipsychotics)
Have existing liver conditions or concerns
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have a history of serious psychiatric conditions (e.g., psychosis, untreated schizophrenia)
Your safety is my priority. We will discuss all contraindications and your full health history during the preparatory sessions. If you’re unsure whether Kava is appropriate for you, I encourage you to reach out first.
Do I need prior experience with meditation or plant medicine?
Not at all. All you need is a sincere willingness to show up, let go, and be present. Whether you’re new to meditation or have been on a long spiritual journey, this work meets you exactly where you are.
Are you ready?
If you are ready to take this step in your healing or spiritual awakening, please book now. I currently only take one Tripnotherapy session per month, so you may need to book a few months in advance or request to be added to the waiting list.
