Refund Policy

At Beyond Trauma Hypnotherapy, your wellbeing and satisfaction are our priority. I am committed to providing professional, ethical services in line with the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) and industry best practice.

Refunds for Hypnotherapy Services

Under New Zealand law, you are entitled to a remedy (which may include a refund, reschedule, or credit) if the service provided:

  • Is not delivered with reasonable care and skill

  • Is not fit for the purpose agreed

  • Does not match what was promised or advertised

However, due to the individualised and subjective nature of therapeutic outcomes, results may vary from person to person. Therefore, refunds are not automatically offered simply because you did not achieve your desired outcome.

You May Be Eligible for a Refund or Remedy If:

  • The session was cancelled or not delivered due to an error on our part

  • The session was not provided with reasonable care or professionalism

  • There was a technical failure with an online session that could not be resolved

Refunds Will Not Be Offered For:

  • Change of mind or failure to attend a booked session

  • Not engaging with or completing the recommended number of sessions

  • Dissatisfaction with the outcome, where the service was delivered appropriately

Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

  • At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

  • Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be charged in full unless there are exceptional circumstances.

  • If you are more than 15 minutes late for a session without contact, the session may be forfeited.

Digital Products / Audio Recordings

Due to the nature of downloadable content, no refunds will be offered on digital products once accessed, unless the product is faulty or not as described.
